I must say that I'm actually angry against the Wizards organization for how they handled Gilbert. Look around the league. Many of the most heinous crimes were committed by other players (Delonte West, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Jackson, etc.) and their organizations stood before them and they continued to play. Gilbert has done something stupid indeed and deserves punishment for what he did. But beginning with Stern "not fit to be on an NBA floor" to assistants for the demolition of his paintings, you have the meditation he had dropped the baby out the window on the 10th floor.I'm anti-gun liberal, but I can see that his "crime" is not as bad as Delonte West's. Yet the West has not been suspended, and still plays. And somehow, I have about rape is a crime much worse than Gilbert, but Kobe is Stern's golden boy. No way would he ever be suspended "indefinitely". Just as the Lakers attempt to eliminate any reference to him. I think it's simply disgusting how Gilbert was treated and I agree that the organization is thriving Wiz to end up paying a heavy price for their shares.As has been pointed out, who will want to come play in a format that does not stand by a player while agreeing to a deserved punishment for this player.

Castlen Elementary reaches out to fire victims

Non-stationary Ala. - On 10 January, a fire at Homestead Apartments in Grand Bay has given many families in the cold. Seven children, five of these families take care of Castlen Elementary School.
"These families have lost everything in the fire," said Pam Adams, principal of Grand Bay Elementary. But students, teachers and school staff immediately went on line to restore both that they could, what was lost.
